The senior staff in Dome were involved in the very first of the industry's commissioning management projects, and lead the way with both their unique professional approach, and formal management systems. Our role will assist in the procurement process ensuring team commitment in fully proving the building.

We appraise the scheme design for 'commissionability during the intended programme'; we look at maintainability, documentation and testing procedures, the level of audit trail to be provided; we provide detailed progress reporting, system witnessing and problem resolution.

Dome structure and provide a detailed Critical Path Network Programme for the total building testing and commissioning phases, and manage the overall Global Integration Testing to fully prove the building prior to delivery.

We have established commissioning management procedures and systems to control and monitor the project from commencement to practical completion and beyond. Dome's own bespoke Commissioning and Documentation Project Management tool, Dome Connect, is used to monitor all Commissioning progress via online Progress Schedules that are driven directly by the Commissioning programme that is embedded within Dome Connect itself. These management procedures and systems are highly flexible and are modified and personalised to suit the size and complexity of each individual project. The basic principle being to review the design, formulate and agree with the contractors and professional team, the commissioning logic, methods, programme, record documentation and handover requirements at the earliest possible stage of the project.

The technical and management skills that Dome can provide have been proven on a wide range of projects and our personnel probably have more experience dealing with major complex projects than any other company.

To support the range of individual services Dome have in-house AutoCAD facilities, Computerised Project and Data Management packages and fully computerised document management systems.
